When I become a teacher, I think Excel and surveys will be very useful tools in the classroom. Excel can be used to calculate grades, make a chart, and keep attendance. For grade keeping, I can have a single file with all the students test grades and homework grades. This will make it easy to access and organize all of my grading information. I could also make a behavior/rewards chart and give a student a sticker or award of some sort if they are well-behaved and an asset in class. The final function could be keeping attendance so I can mark whether or not a student was there and know what classwork they missed.

Reviewing my classmates blogs was very interesting! Three aspects of the blogs I really enjoyed included the layouts, the content, and the details. Since I always appreciate good organization and think this makes material much easier to read and understand, the layout was an important component. The content and the details of the blogs were very intriguing and fascinating. Overall, I enjoyed viewing my classmates blogs!

One technology-related skill I would like to learn next is how to use Schoology. Schoology is an online application that I used during highschool in which the teachers posted assignments, tests, and grades. Since I always found Schoology to be efficient and helpful while using it as a student, I would like to learn how to use it as a teacher.
